Little Adventures Preschool 2020-21

 Here is a look at our first days of 2021 doing winter-themed activities. Winter activities We made snow out of snow powder (from Amazon). The kids decorated posterboard snowmen. I like having some activities like this where the kids can explore creatively without having to make the end product look a certain way. Literacy activities We read I Really Like Slop, an Elephant and Piggie book. We read Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See? Math activities The kids worked on an artic animals puzzle. The kids put together a 1-100 puzzle. The kids explored making shapes with geoboards. Fine Motor Skills Activities They played with the magnetic alphabet tracing boards, working on capital and lower case letters. They drew with sidewalk chalk. They played with snap cubes. Miscellaneous We played a game called Spot It. They've enjoyed playing in the leaves and playing outside together.

Here is a look at the last two days of preschool before we let out for Christmas 😀   Christmas activities The kids painted and decorated cardboard Christmas trees. We made ornaments for the kids to give you. Literacy activities We read The Book With No Pictures so the kids would understand the presents I was giving them. Fine motor skill activities The kids played with Water Wow notebooks (water pens reveal the color in the pictures)
